Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute a plan to engage, manage and renew Forcepoint’s customer base.
  • Provide leadership, focusing on monitoring activity, the highest levels of performance and customer satisfaction
  • People management experience - insides sales reps – (2-3 years)
  • Manager with the capabilities to coach and mentor the team ensuring their on-going development
  • Management of renewal APJ Business in Forcepoint technology space
  • Experience with managing sales process vendor thru Channel led transactions
  • Be commercially aware of key industry developments and market trends
  • Act as a key contributor within the APAC Sales Management Team
  • Act as an escalation point for Forcepoint customers and accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls from / to end users and reseller partners to maintain customer satisfaction and progress sales opportunities
  • Use a consultative approach with end users and reseller partners, provide timely follow-up, closure and tracking of all identified opportunities
  • Provide weekly business pipeline reports / forecasts for all business developed and closed by your team to the Global Renewal VP
  • Interface with end users and reseller partners daily via telephone and email to provide assistance and support the closure of revenue opportunities
  • Facilitate the sales process by providing and/or coordinating pre-qualification of leads to identify needs and solution fit and forward leads to Reps as appropriate
  • Help the planning and implementation of focused sales campaigns, ensuring effective and timely performance
  • Work closely with revenue operations and administration
  • Work closely with sales resources, SE, Channel, Solutions Sales Specialists and Executives as required.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Education and Experience

  • University degree is highly desirable however equivalent professional experience will also be accepted
  • Extensive proven IT sales experience, Cybersecurity a plus
  • Comprehensive experience of related management or supervisory experience in a high-tech company, must have management experience
  • Proven track record in motivating and appraising staff and building and retaining teams
  • A successful track record in delivering to defined revenue / margin targets
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN, TAS etc
  • PC literate with knowledge of MS Office applications as a minimum, especially MS Excel

  • Able to work with minimum supervision on routine sales tasks
