A Facilities & Workplace Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective operation of Forcepoint’s facilities. This position will oversee the physical infrastructure, plan and manage maintenance and repairs, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and create a comfortable environment for employees and visitors. In addition, in this role you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s access control systems globally (HW and software), the Site Incident Support Team (SIST) procedures, and various ad hoc site-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Operations:
- Oversee routine maintenance and ensure that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are in good working order.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules for all facilities-related assets.
- Coordinate emergency repairs and troubleshooting (if needed outside of normal working hours).
- Assist in daily facilities operations, including office maintenance & space planning.
- Manage renovation or remodeling projects as needed.
Vendor management:
- Coordinate and manage external service providers (cleaning, electrical, etc.).
- Ensure all contracts are up-to-date and vendors are compliant with company standards.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Security Operations:
- Oversee the building’s security systems (e.g., surveillance cameras, alarm systems) and manage access control.
- Process access requests, including employee badges, visitor access, and temporary credentials.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and assets.
- Regularly audit and update access records to ensure compliance with security policies.
Safety and Compliance:
- Collaborate with response teams (SIST) to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure the facility complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety codes, health regulations, and environmental laws.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and resolve potential hazards.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in access control system administration (e.g., Genetec, Lenel, or similar platforms) is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift shipping boxes up to 30lbs
- Availability for after-hours emergency response, as needed
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field - preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, security operations or a similar role
