As a Senior Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you will be responsible for building new business (new logo, cross-sell & up-sell) for all Forcepoint solutions, sized between 0-500 seats.
Essential Function:
- Sell & close the sale of the company’s products, systems and/or services to customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts.
- Develop, identify & cultivate new accounts.
- Generate prospective customers through cold calling, qualifying and following up with sales leads.
- Sales can be made through multichannel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities.
- In-depth technical knowledge of products, systems and services (may include contract documentation).
- Up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company
- Preparation of activity and forecast reports, as requested.
- May act as sole sales representative for assigned territory, industry, accounts, and/or products.
- Establish and maintain relationships with channel partners.
- Maintain an established network of contacts.
- Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
- Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers.
- Minimal business travel or work outside office required.
- Considered highly skilled at sales techniques and demonstrates strong understanding of company products/services.
- Completes complex sales.
- Utilizes knowledge of product/service and industry to evaluate and recommend best solutions for clients.
- Typically has established base of accounts and solid revenue/bookings responsibility.
- Sales completed with little to no supervision.
Experience(s), knowledge, and education we are looking for:
- A proven track record of success in managing and developing existing accounts
- Experience selling to C-Suite is an advantage
- Experience of closing business
- Experience of working in a sales position in a high-tech organization
- A knowledge of MEDDPICC would be an advantage
