We are looking for a high-impact Sales Engineer in Oman who can bridge technology and business value. This role sits at the center of our customer engagements, partnering closely with sales, enabling partners, and guiding enterprise customers through complex security transformations.

What You Will Do

· Support sales efforts to achieve and exceed revenue targets

· Lead technical discussions with enterprise customers to understand requirements and map them to Forcepoint solutions (data protection, cloud security, email security, AI security, web security, network security)

· Deliver technical presentations, solution demos, architecture workshops, and whiteboarding sessions for both technical and executive stakeholders

· Provide pre-sales engineering support, solution design, and security architecture consulting

· Design and support PoCs, pilots, and production evaluations in customer environments

· Work with customers, partners, and internal teams to design integrations across cloud and on-prem infrastructures

· Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical win strategies and competitive positioning

· Contribute to RFI/RFP responses, including architecture diagrams and technical documentation

· Build and maintain demo environments and lab infrastructures for cloud-native security use cases

· Act as a technical representative in customer meetings, partner engagements, and industry events

· Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams on customer needs and market trends

What You Bring

· 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in pre-sales, solution engineering, or security consulting roles

· Strong understanding of enterprise security and network architecture

· Hands-on experience with security platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Broadcom (Symantec/Blue Coat), McAfee, or Forcepoint technologies

· Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP) and security protocols (TLS/SSL, firewalls, NAT/SNAT)

· Experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, site-to-site VPN, remote access VPNs)

· Hands-on experience in integrating and implementing traffic forwarding technologies (ICAP, WCCP, PBR)

· Knowledge of proxy-based architectures and secure web gateways

· Knowledge of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and data classifications concepts and technologies is highly desirable

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud / Workspace), including identity, networking, and security services

· Understanding of cloud security concepts across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

· Familiarity with identity and access management (Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, SSO, SCIM, ADFS)

· Experience with REST APIs and integration-driven architecture

· Basic to intermediate Python scripting for automation or API interaction

· Ability to write and interpret Regex, PowerShell scripts

· Experience with MAC, Linux and Windows environments for troubleshooting and administration

· Experience with endpoint management and Win / Apple ecosystem tools (e.g., Jamf)

· Exposure to Kubernetes/container environments

· Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders

· Ability to translate technical security challenges into clear business value

· Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills

· Experience working with enterprise or government customers in complex sales cycles is preferred

Travel

· Ability to travel within Turkey, UAE, STAN, RoG and the Levant region as required

Key Requirements

· Fluent English (written and spoken) is required, with the ability to confidently engage international customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

· Strong communication skills with the ability to address both technical and executive audiences

· Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline

· Relevant experience in cybersecurity engineering or enterprise security projects is highly valued
