About this Role

Glorious is a lifestyle gaming hardware company, built by passionate enthusiasts on a mission to change the status quo of the PC gaming industry. Since 2014 we've provided PC gaming hardware and accessories engineered for elite-level performance, premium quality, and high-end aesthetics.

We are looking for an experienced Product Development Manager to join our Product Development team. This individual will be responsible for defining the scope of new gaming products, coordinating with contract manufacturers on all phases of production, and working cross-functionally with other Glorious teams on testing and software integration. They will also be responsible for market research, ensuring that Glorious remains competitive within the marketplace.

This position reports to the Senior Product Development Manager. The person in this role will work closely with Glorious product managers, designers, engineers, and testing teams, as well as with external contract manufacturers and other third-party partners.

Compensation

The starting annual salary for this role is $50,000 to $70,000 USD depending on knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographical location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define requirements and specifications for new products by creating Product Requirement Specifications (PRS/PRD) documents
  • Work with internal Glorious teams and external partners to develop products according to specifications and vision
  • Work closely with the software team to integrate software functionality into hardware products
  • Drive all phases of prototyping and product manufacturing to ensure products are prototyped, tested, and produced on-schedule
  • In association with QA, validate that deliverables from the factories meet our spec and quality requirements and are functional
  • Develop an effective relationship with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure product vision is achieved
  • Determine end users' needs and desires by performing market research
  • Conduct analysis on internal prototypes and competitors’ products to validate claims, gather data, and help foster innovation
