As the Director, HCP Strategy and Business Development, your principal objective is to drive transformation through revenue growth and profitability among new and emergent business lines. You will be responsible for leveraging data and analytics to lead and support high-impact initiatives that inform both execution and forward-looking business decisions. You will partner closely with Business Intelligence, Corporate Development, Marketing, Operations, Product Development, and Sales to help expand our footprint with our providers, health systems, and pharma customers, especially as it relates to our new products and solutions. Additionally, you will act as an advisor to executive leaders and teams by delivering concise analytical insights and/or execution plans. This role will report to the VP, Strategy & Ops / GM, GoodRx For Provider, and work cross-functionally with leaders from across the business to deliver results.
Example projects include:
- Business case analysis through pricing, modeling, and quantitative and qualitative work
- New product analysis on addressable markets, areas of need, and strategy recommendations
- M&A target and strategic partner research, identification, evaluation, and engagement
- Sales enablement through collaboration with Business Intelligence, Product Marketing, and Sales Leadership

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify strategic partnerships and business strategies to support Manufacturer Solutions growth
  • Serve as strategic partner with internal/external stakeholders to develop and evaluate growth initiatives, and support business case development of strategies and acquisitions
  • Strategic analysis of market positioning and prioritization of target opportunities
  • Sourcing and analysis of M&A opportunities and competitor analysis
  • Pricing, modeling, and quantitative analysis for product ROI assessment
  • Advise Manufacturer Solutions on key aspects of operations and strategy (e.g. building visions, scaling sales teams, establish strategic plan and track performance)Identify market trends and areas of opportunity to expand and further develop offerings
  • Assess industry players and evaluate their potential as partners, competitors, acquisition opportunities, or investment candidates
  • New product evaluation, exploring potential areas of opportunity for manufacturers with GoodRx, conducting thorough analysis on addressable markets, areas of need, and strategy recommendation
  • Work cross functionally to build launch plans and metrics for new products and features
  • Serve as strategic partner with internal/external stakeholders to develop and evaluate growth initiatives, and support new business case development, including research and analysis on the viability of new strategies and acquisitions
  • Lead the development of industry, regulatory and competitive analysis to support strategic priorities and growth initiatives

Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred or 8+ years of professional experience in: Digital health, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and tech industries, Management consulting at a top tier firm, Investment banking or private equity at a top tier firm, and/or Corporate strategy and operations at a Fortune 100 company
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare and pharmaceutical value chain
  • Prior experience with Health Plans, PBMs, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, Digital Health and/or Pharmacy Retailers preferred
  • Strong relationship building skills with an ability to earn trust and respect of prospective partners, collaborators and other stakeholders while driving initiatives
Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Below are our salary ranges for this position based on office location:
San Francisco Office: $169,000 to $271,000
New York City Office: $155,000 to $249,000
Santa Monica Office: $141,000 to $226,000
