About the Role
GoodRx is looking to bring on a Pharma Sales Manager for the Manufacturer Solutions commercial team reporting to the Team Lead, Manufacturer Solutions. You will be an important part of the commercial team responsible for growing small to mid tier pharma accounts and focusing on selling innovative solutions on behalf of our growing manufacturer base of clients in the pharmaceutical space.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and grow business relationships with current and prospective pharmaceutical clients
● Continually assesses revenue potential of territory through analysis of the overall market, supports corporate goals, pipeline outlook and general industry intelligence in order to provide accurate sales forecasts
● Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop effective proposals
● Provides their Team Lead with regular updates on sales-focused activities including lead generation, competitive intelligence, and product opportunities
● Keeps abreast of market conditions, competitive activities, technological trends through ongoing research and engagement at industry and medical conferences, literature reviews and other sources
Skills & Qualifications:
● 5+ years of highly verticalized B2B sales focusing on pharmaceutical companies and related media companies, Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sales Management a plus
● Understanding of access and affordability for Pharma brands and some experience selling direct to pharmaceutical manufacturers and digital agencies
● Comfortable with cold calling, and an appetite for breaking into new accounts where no established relationship exists
● Knowledge of customer and reporting requirements
● Strong cross-functional working skills
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Willing and able to travel up to 40% of the time
Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Below are our salary ranges for this position based on office location:
San Francisco Office: $96,000 - $154,000
New York and Seattle Offices: $88,000 - $141,000
Los Angeles Office: $80,000 - $128,000
Other Office Locations: $72k-$128k
