Position Overview:
As the Senior Director of Quality Assurance, you'll play a pivotal leadership role in steering our QA vision and strategy. Your primary mandate will be to champion quality across all product and service lines, ensuring that our software meets the highest industry and user standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define, communicate, and implement the QA vision and strategy in alignment with company objectives.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and expand the QA department. Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Quality Advocacy: Establish rigorous quality assurance standards and ensure adherence across the organization.
  • Process Overhaul: Continuously assess, optimize, and innovate our QA methodologies and practices.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between QA, Product, Development, and Operations, ensuring seamless integrations and timely releases.
  • Automation Mastery: Spearhead the development and enhancement of automated testing strategies, maximizing efficiency and coverage.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track KPIs related to software quality, test coverage, and defect metrics. Present data-driven insights to executive leadership.
  • Resource Management: Strategically allocate and manage QA resources, including budgeting, tool selection, and external vendor relations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or relevant work experience in technology.
  • 10+ years of progressive QA experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading both manual and automated testing endeavors.
  • Proven track record in constructing, nurturing, and directing high-performance QA teams.
  • Adept analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels.
Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Below are our salary ranges for this position based on office location:
Santa Monica Office: $188,000 - $301,000
