Our goal is to help Americans find convenient and affordable healthcare. We offer solutions for consumers, employers, health plans, and anyone else who shares our desire to provide affordable prescriptions to all Americans.

About this Role:

GoodRx is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Ad Operations Manager to join a small, fast-moving team responsible for delivering digital advertising products to pharmaceutical manufacturer partners on GoodRx.com. With numerous ad placements across a variety of touchpoints and a growing base of healthcare clients, this role is critical in ensuring campaign success, platform integrity, and high-quality user and client experiences.

This is a senior-level individual contributor role, best suited for someone with a comprehensive understanding of digital advertising operations, the ability to solve diverse and complex issues, and a collaborative approach that adapts to cross-functional audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end process for launching advertising placements sold to pharmaceutical manufacturers and their agencies, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) and technical testing of creative assets across multiple devices and environments to guarantee proper functionality and adherence to specifications.

  • Communicate with third-party vendors to coordinate and validate the correct setup and deployment of campaigns.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are accurately implemented, optimized, and reported on.

  • Troubleshoot ad placements and creative integrations, using advanced technical acumen and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently, even in ambiguous situations.

  • Perform reconciliations between first-party and third-party ad servers to ensure data accuracy and delivery confirmation.

  • Support complex advertising solutions and integrations unique to GoodRx, going beyond basic ad formats and taking initiative to execute with precision—even when challenges arise that require extra effort.

  • Assist with client-facing reporting by gathering and analyzing performance metrics, contributing insights to support renewals, upsells, and campaign effectiveness.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 - 5 years of Ad Operations experience, ideally in digital media or digital healthcare advertising; equivalent experience with a Master’s or PhD considered.

  • In-depth knowledge of Google Ad Manager and related ad servers; working knowledge of JavaScript tags, programmatic tools, ad inventory management, and tag troubleshooting.

  • Experience using platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker, Salesforce, and other reporting/CRM systems with the ability to learn and apply new tools quickly.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and explain KPIs and advertising performance data in a meaningful way to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with third-party tracking, rich media platforms, and verification tools including but not limited to DCM, Sizmek, MOAT, IAS, DoubleVerify, Celtra, and Operative One.

  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities independently, delivering high-quality results on time in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

  • An obsessive attention to detail and a creative approach to solving non-standard problems, often by adapting known methods or developing new approaches.

  • Healthcare industry experience and understanding of patient outcomes, PII, and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
