About The Team

Our Growth team takes care of the acquisition, activation and retention of our customers. We work in cross-functional teams, each consisting of experts from the areas of data analytics, in product messaging, lifecycle management, product marketing, SEO, e-commerce, finance, and content production.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Paid Media to lead our paid media strategy and operations across multiple business lines. This senior leadership position will be responsible for driving our media approach, technological innovation, and team development while ensuring operational excellence in a complex multi-SKU environment.

As our Director of Paid Media, you will play a crucial role in scaling our paid media operations, driving technological innovation, and building a high-performing team capable of delivering consistent results across multiple business lines. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our media strategy and driving business growth through effective paid media execution.

Your Contribution

Strategic Leadership

  • You will architect and execute our comprehensive paid media strategy across channels including paid search, paid social, performance marketing, paid partnerships, podcasting, and other relevant platforms
  • As a senior leader, you'll drive our marketing technology initiatives including Media Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution, and systematic incrementality testing
  • You'll build and nurture strategic relationships with key platforms including Google, Meta, and other media partners

Team Management & Operations

  • As the team leader, you will guide and develop the paid media team, by setting clear goals and KPIs while monitoring the performance. You'll create and maintain individual and team performance metrics
  • You'll be responsible for establishing a high-velocity test and learn environment to drive continuous improvement
  • It's your task to manage team operations including capacity planning, hiring, training, and freelancer coordination
  • You will lead regular department meetings and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration

Budget & Performance Management

  • You'll have full oversight of daily paid media operations including expense management
  • You will manage complex budget allocation across multiple business lines and channels
  • It's your responsibility to drive daily and weekly campaign optimization to achieve ROAS and new customer acquisition targets
  • As the department head, you'll implement robust reporting systems to track and communicate performance metrics


Our Ideal Candidate

  • You have extensive experience in paid media leadership roles with demonstrated success in complex multi-SKU environments
  • You offer significant experience working with performance marketing tools, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, bid management etc
  • You bring and evolve relationships with major platforms (Google, Meta, etc.)
  • You possess deep expertise in marketing technology, including Media Mix Modeling, MTA, and incrementality testing
  • You've successfully managed subscription and e-commerce business models in complex multi-SKU environment
  • You bring experience in managing cross-cultural teams and stakeholders. You push for improvements and excellence and consistently challenge the status quo;
  • You combine a data-driven mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
  • You have a strong track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
  • Agency experience, music industry background and experience working in global markets is a plus
