Jama Software is seeking a smart, multifaceted Technical Consultant with experience in SaaS software implementation and integrations. This role is responsible for prioritizing, coordinating customers, testing, and publishing our recommended integration patterns across the engineering tool landscape so that our customers achieve sustained and elevated value from Jama Software.
The Consultant will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical implementation plans that enhance data flow, traceability, and collaboration across tools.
What You'll Do:
- Lead technical working sessions with clients to capture integration needs and recommend best practice integration patterns
- Design end-to-end integration architectures using REST APIs, middleware, or third-party integration frameworks to realize an integrated digital thread managed by Jama Connect
- Lead client technical working sessions to setup, configure, and test Jama Connect integrations to 3rd party engineering tools
- Coordinate integration implementation efforts between customers, Jama Solutions Team and Jama Technical Teams to ensure timely delivery
- Serve as a technical point of contact with Jama Software’s technical partners who are developing new integrations to Jama Connect
- Document and share best practice integration patterns in our knowledge base and train our internal support and solutions teams so they can demo and deliver integration services
- Work with Marketing and Solution leadership to drive industry messaging and asset creation like public blogs and webinars centered on digital thread and integrated engineering performance
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years direct experience with ALM and/or PLM systems configuration and integration
- 3–5 years of experience in technical consulting, systems integration, or enterprise software implementation
- Proven track record of delivering successful integrations between SaaS or enterprise platforms
- Confident presentation, meeting facilitation, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence a prospect or customer to Jama Software’s recommended integration patterns or design new ones based on customer needs
- Ability to context switch between high-level solution vision and technical setup / configuration
- Strong understanding of systems integration concepts—APIs, web services, authentication, data mapping, and transformation
- Strong communication; able to explain complex technical concepts in clear, actionable terms
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience operating as a Systems Engineer, Integration Manager
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Planview Hub, OSLC, or similar)
- Familiarity with PLM systems such as Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA, or Agile PLM
- Direct experience implementing Jama Connect at their organization
