Purpose of Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver technical capability and direction for platform and application infrastructure that supports strategic initiatives.

Carry out design, development, testing, documentation, code review and analysis of various software applications and technical specifications, complying with established methodologies. Creatively enhance existing product lines with new capabilities and features.

Focus on product enhancements and solutions for complex problems and perform a important role in the integration of developed software utilizing user interfaces and data. Engineer sophisticated new solutions for large-scale go-to-market system offerings, encompassing Keyloop’s entire product line.

Key Responsibilities
•    Design and implementation of reliable, high performing and usable applications
•    Creation of design documentation
•    Unit testing and debugging as necessary
•    Displaying initiative in research, proposal and development of tools, technologies and techniques
•    Collaborating and communicating effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
•    Analysis of business needs and development of technical solutions
•    Applying foresight to look beyond immediate requirements for future extensibility
•    Participating in design and code reviews as necessary
•    Supporting clients’ evolving needs through ongoing product enhancements and application extension
•    Other tasks and duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
•    2+ years of experience in.NET (C#) and ASP.NET
•    Understanding of SOLID principles, dependency injection, asynchronous execution and composition over inheritance
•    Experience in designing and building persistence layers using relational and non-relational database technologies and using appropriate ORM frameworks
•    Knowledge of REST API design principles
•    Experience with automated testing frameworks
•    Proficiency using modern version control
•    Teamwork skills with a positive attitude and good communication
•    Working proficiency in English

These will be a plus
•    Javascript/Typescript experience
•    Experience in cloud environments (AWS)
•    Familiarity with agile working methods
•    Understanding of DDD and CQRS principles
•    Some experience with event-based solutions (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
