About the Role & Team 


Frictionless payments are imperative to the vehicle ownership journey. By simplifying the way consumers pay will digitally transform the automotive retail industry, which is critical to the success of Keyloop’s Product Strategy. This role is focused on the strategy, management, and evolution of the Keyloop ePayments Portfolio to ensure that we have a world-class set of components that underpin the Dealerships Customer Services process, but ultimately serve the need of the end consumer. 


The Product Manager translates overall product vision into deliverable release items and works closely with multiple stakeholders to bring products to market using shared platform, own built and partner capabilities. The role will be both part of a wider product management team who deliver other consumer engagement channels and an Agile scrum team following the SAFe framework. Outside of the direct colleagues the successful candidate will be required to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, internal and external, around the world. 

Key responsibilities will include justifying, scoping, defining, specifying, and managing key Payment capabilities such as consumer remote payments and consumer present payments via Payment Orchestration platforms, payment service providers and payment management API’s. As well as defining and building new strategic capabilities, this role will be responsible for the evolution of the portfolio to cater for new propositions & acquisitions Keyloop are bringing to market. 


This role is crucial to the continued growth of the business and is well aligned to the global business strategy. Suitable candidates will have a growth mindset, looking to launch an already successful product into new geographies, with the imagination to do things not just better but differently. 


Primary Responsibilities 

  • Understand the consumer and the market, our customers and their problems and future challenges. 

  • Own the in-market success of the products by proactively tracking and managing product P&L, and performance against bookings, revenue & install backlog to maximize growth and margin. 

  • Define User Stories, create Epics and participate and facilitate Scrum meetings 

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog. 

  • Be the face of the product portfolio, the SME (Subject Matter Expert) and the owner, being accountable for the product’s overall success. 

  • Strong customer focus, ensuring a slick customer experience across the portfolio with a frictionless customer journey from prospect acquisition through to ongoing usage and up-/cross-selling. 

  • Help translate the overall Product vision into a cohesive execution plan that includes build, buy and partnership opportunities. 

  • Own and manage the lifecycle of key capabilities from ideation and definition through to sun-setting including scoping, specifying, and prioritizing requirements as well as ‘business-as-usual’ operations. 

  • Working closely alongside architects, engineering, and operational leads to deliver the vision. 

  • Provide support for the commercial products and use data-driven analysis and insights to help drive commercial growth. 

  • Partner with all other Product Managers to ensure consistency of the customer experience across the portfolio – to include shared capabilities, like; licensing and billing models, reporting and insights, and more. 

  • Understand the technology landscape and the market trends for delivering SaaS (Software as a Service) based applications. 

  • Provide input into the overall strategy and priorities for our portfolio. 

  • Develop and maintain broad knowledge of related functional areas across the business. 

  • Be an innovative thinker and propose creative solutions to address current and future customer needs and expectations. 

  • Engage and collaborate with an Agile Scrum team and the wider Release train to deliver value consistently often. 


Skills / Knowledge & Experience 

  • 3years+ Product Management/Ownership experience in Software, Payments, or Automotive related industries 

  • A clear understanding and experience of B2C payment capabilities is an advantage 

  • Knowledge or qualified in the SAFe Agile Framework 

  • Proven ability to network effectively and collaboratively in a complex, matrix environment comprised of diverse roles, interests, and geographies; demonstrated ability to build credibility and relationships across diverse cultures
