Purpose of the role

The post of Print Implementation Consultant is part of the Print Solutions team. The job purpose is the implementation of the Print Manager products and services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Implementation of Print Manager application and associated product set within the scope of the job role, following agreed standard procedures and practices.
2. To be proactive in making all necessary preparations and arrangements to ensure customer dictated ‘dates’ are met as scheduled including occasional share of “out of hours” & “weekend” work.
3. To keep all interested parties appropriately informed of job progress and any issues that may compromise the scheduled dates.
4. To use schedules provided to keep informed of personal assignments and prioritise work requirements.
5. To take responsibility to ensure appropriate levels of service and contact are maintained with customers, and that the customer’s confidence in the product and services provided are maintained.
6. Follow established department/company procedures relating to customer Implementation/support.
7. Ensure customer Print Mgr. support Notes & records of work are accurately updated and maintained.
8. Report on any faults found or enhancements which could improve the product via the internal issues system.
9. To contribute to process improvements of the Print Solutions team and implementation of its product set.
10. Maintain and keep abreast of all relevant software used for job purpose.
11. Any other duties that might be considered reasonable by your line manager.

Job Function Competencies

1. Carry out routine Print Mgr. application functions within the scope of the job role following agreed standard procedures and practices.
2. Assist with departmental overspill from other teams and cover where applicable.
3. Take responsibility for keeping abreast of product developments and enhancements within the Print Solutions Product Set and share own knowledge as required. Report any faults identified using the procedures in place.
4. Ensure that the customer’s Support Notes & Records of Work are accurately updated and maintained.
