As part of the Finance team that supports G&A, the Finance Business Partner provides both financial and commercial expertise to the Business Leaders they support. The FBP is expected to act as the ‘right hand’ to their business leaders, helping drive product performance and optimised results in line with Keyloop’s Operating Plan and Strategy.

Whilst the role functionally reports up within Finance an exceedingly strong dotted line exists with their Business Leaders due to the hands-on expectation to running the business.

Key Duties & responsibilities include but won’t be limited to:

  • Understanding, interpreting, explaining & driving business performance in terms of costs for the G&A functions

  • Development of strong interpersonal relationships with senior leaders in order to build awareness of financial and functional performance

  • Leading financial planning, forecasting, product portfolio reviews to ensure the G&A functions have a credible, joined-up and quantifiable plan to execute its strategy

  • Partnering with the G&A functions in order to prepare detailed business cases to support the investment in new products and/or functionality

  • Understanding, interpreting and explaining headcount movements across multiple locations

  • Evaluating, reviewing and approving business decisions, monitoring on-going projects to ensure benefits are tracked & realized for the Function

  • Developing strong interpersonal relationships with Business Controllers and wider finance team(s) to ensure they are fully aware of business aspects relevant to the Function

  • Supporting the GL and Controlling teams understand and control costs by vendors in order to maximise our EBITDA

  • Supporting the Central FP&A team in developing executive presentations, design and implement new insightful reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis to track metrics and KPIs

  • Communicator & advocate for business compliance with Finance/ internal processes and controls for the Function

Business / Strategic Impact:

  • Able to apply sound financial analysis to support decision making

  • Able to model and/or critically evaluate businesses cases as needed

  • Able to plan, coordinate, and execute an efficient and effective forecasting / annual operating plan cycle looking at leading indicators

  • Able to propose clear practical action steps in crafting solutions to business problems

  • Able to run and maintain Keyloop wide metrics relating to functions performance

  • Able to adopt best in class reporting capabilities using tools such as Power BI or Tableau in giving insight on performance to the Business

  • Able to focus on cause & effect relationships in observable factors

  • Able to focus on functional cost efficiencies and identify opportunities to improve performance

  • Ability to gain insight into leading indicators for cost overruns and work closely with the Function to remedy the same

Key results Indicators & Measures of Success:

  • Delivery of monthly financial analysis, reporting and annual budget

  • Delivery of accurate forecasts related headcount and associated expenses

  • Creation of accurate financial models and critically evaluate businesses cases as needed

  • Optimisation of cost management

Relationship Focus:

Nature and level of contacts within/outside the organization:

  • Able to clearly and regularly communicate with Business leaders that report into RLT as also the HR Business Partner

  • Close co-ordination with other finance functions
