Purpose of the role:

The Sales Operations Manager – Process and Technology is responsible for the optimisation of sales processes and systems. This role ensures the sames team operates efficiently and effectively by maintaining and improving sales processes and systems such as CRM. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to deal and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and enforce standards and governance related to sales and sales operations processes.
  • Ensure data integrity within Salesforce CRM.
  • Manage changes to Salesforce CRM in collaboration with the Enterprise Applications team.
  • Drive automation and integration between systems and teams to improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with other departments that interface with the Sales team to ensure seamless ways of working.
  • Ensure Sales compliance with company policies.
  • Maintaining sales process documentation and policies.
  • Regularly audit and report upon adherence to policies.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales operations, preferably in a high-growth, SaaS environment.
  • Experience of CRM systems (particularly Salesforce) including administration, customisation and configuration, including integration to other related systems via APIs.
  • Track record in process improvement – particularly within a SaaS Sales environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Project management skills in managing changes from inception to completion in an agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Salesforce, Project management or Six Sigma certifications are advantageous, but not essential.
