Principal NetSuite Consultant

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an individual to join the Keyloop Finance Systems Development team as the Principal Netsuite Consultant. This team is part of the wider Corporate IT organisation, and is enabling new and compelling initiatives in support of the Finance strategy for Keyloop. The team is spread across the globe, so the role is remote-first, with some travel to support stakeholders when required.

The successful candidate will have extensive NetSuite expertise, have a strong project delivery ethic and be confident guiding NetSuite Architecture. You will be the lead specialist promoting the development and enhancement of Keyloop’s NetSuite platform. THE ROLE

The Principal NetSuite Consultant understands the full extent of the digital solution and will collaborate effectively with colleagues from other disciplines to define technology objectives, assess solution options and devise architectural solutions that achieve both strategic business goals and meet operational requirements to ensure the solution fits into the enterprise architecture.

Working with our business and technology colleagues, you will prepare the technical blueprints for cost effective and efficient NetSuite solutions across the platform, taking a solution leadership role throughout design and delivery, to help ensure that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements and follow the organisation’s strategic vision.

The Principal NetSuite Consultant will also provide technical support to resolve NetSuite operational issues, working alongside support desk colleagues to ensure smooth operations. There should be a strong focus on knowledge sharing and transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical design and delivery of complex change requests and major projects
• High Level and Details sizing Capability
• Collaborative working across teams to design, build and support solutions on, and surrounding, the NetSuite platform.
• Facilitate release management activities across teams, ensuring controlled and timely deployments within a continuous integration environment. Ensure that all changes are documented, reviewed, tested and approved before release.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on items related to NetSuite and the NetSuite eco-system.
• Hands-on resolution of P1 tickets or other complex issues where senior help is required.
• Coaching junior resources to enable support teams to rotate into the declarative team activities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for customisations, configuration and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and training

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have many years experience as a NetSuite Consultant including working with global customers using OneWorld and Multi-Book accounting.

Essential

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a NetSuite Consultant.
• Multiple end-to-end implementations.
• A good understanding of NetSuite data modelling, integration patterns and NetSuite architecture best practices.
• NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification.
• Up to date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, including latest release.
• Knowledge of business development activities, including the design of NetSuite solutions based upon input from business analysts.
• Experience with NetSuite Multi-book accounting.

Desirable

• Preferably more than 10 years experience with NetSuite.
• Experience with Advanced Revenue Management.
• Experience with Kyriba or Blackline an advantage, but not essential.
• Experience with Zone Billing (or other recurring billing applications in a SaaS environment) a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of the systems delivery lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, integration, testing (all phases), migration and deployment.
• An understanding of Suitescript is desirable but the role is not anticipated to cover scripting.

Skills

• A confident written and verbal communicator, able to clearly explain digital solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of priorities and able to balance workload across various projects, issues, and end users.
• Able to work within a team with varied skillsets, both leading and supporting colleagues.
