What you’ll do:

• Accountable for delivering against the product vision & strategy for the DMS in line with the company vision

• Responsible for creating and managing the short-term and long-term Product Roadmap for your area

• Manage and prioritise your overall product teams’ backlog for each quarterly program increment (PI)

• Overall product domain area ownership of the International Dealer Management System – Drive

• Accountability for product delivery and quality, including the release notes and operational handover processes

• Collaborate with cross functional departments and internal and external stakeholders including the leadership team

• Accountable for product continuity working closely with support and infrastructure teams

• Lead a team of Product Owners and be responsible for all aspects of their line management including goal setting and performance reviews

• Coaching and support to Product Owners creating clear goals and objectives for them to achieve

• Analyse feedback from customers and stakeholders to shape future requirements and features

• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gain insight into their current challenges, needs and issues

• Maintain an understanding of product performance within the portfolio, including financial, operational, customer experience, and usage data

• Conduit between the Product and Engineering organisation and the rest of the business

• Collaborate closely with your Release Train Engineer (RTE) and wider Agile Coaching team to drive a culture of continuous improvement

• Provide product leadership and operational expertise to wider DMS and product organisation

What you’ll bring:

• Skilled in formulating and delivering product roadmaps and communicating it effectively to anyone in the organisation - from the teams designing and building the products, through to senior leadership

• Strong understanding of Business Analysis and Project Management tools and processes

• Strong experience of managing the product development lifecycle from discovery through alpha/beta to launch

• Experience of developing capabilities & processes that enable compliance, governance and that drive efficiency

• Previous experience of SaaS software product management and leading Product teams

• Previous experience working in Agile software development, ideally using SAFe or Scrum

• Driven, but with a collaborative approach. “You don’t win unless our team wins”

• Ability to define and measure objectives & key results (OKRs) at both an individual and team level

• Strong communication skills and ability to navigate a matrix organisation across locations and time zones where priorities can be in competition

• Ability to build influential partnerships with key stakeholders internally

• Experience in managing established products and raising the bar regarding processes, quality and throughput

Nice to haves

• A solid understanding of the automotive industry, ideally from a vehicle sales and / or aftersales perspective
• Technical experience with modern software and cloud-based technology is useful but not essential
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and a qualification in Agile practices is an advantage
