GL Accountant will assist with accounting and will be instrumental in the financial close process. This includes, recording transactions including invoices and initiating payments , preparing G/L accountant reconciliations and will also play significant role in compliance part for direct and indirect taxes for India region.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end journal entries and monthly close deliverables
• Own accounting for Invoices and make vendor payments
• Prepare monthly flux analysis for management review
• Prepare audit support for external and internal audits
• Own accounting and process documentation for areas that may include revenue, cash, fixed assets, prepaids, and month-end accruals
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures & implementing internal control procedures
• Assist in Direct and Indirect Tax Filings and SEZ filings
• Establish effective relationships and work cross-functionally across the organization
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies for areas of responsibility
• Assist in any accounting-related system implementations
• Participate in special projects, analysis, and reporting as and when required

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Experience in finance (accounting, financial controlling or external audit)
• Great communication skills and proactive approach in issue resolution
• Experience with ERP and other reporting systems such as MS Business Central, Dynamics NAV, Oracle NetSuite, Hyperion Reporting, etc.
• 5 years of experience in accounting function
