Role Overview:

The Junior New Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s growth strategy by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role involves research, outreach, and relationship-building to generate new leads, convert prospects, and maintain business relationships. The ideal candidate will be proactive, driven, and possess excellent communication and networking skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation:
    • Identify potential new business opportunities through market research, industry trends, and networking.
    • Develop a pipeline of potential clients through cold calling, emailing, and attending industry events or webinars.
  2. Client Prospecting:
    • Qualify leads to assess fit for the company’s products or services.
    • Schedule and conduct introductory meetings or calls to pitch the company's offerings.
    • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to nurture relationships.
  3. Sales Support:
    • Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts for new clients.
    • Support the negotiation process by gathering relevant information and helping draft initial terms.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (such as marketing or product development) to ensure client needs are met.
  4. Market Research & Strategy:
    • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
    • Suggest new markets and business strategies to enhance growth.
  5. CRM & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of interactions with leads and prospects using the company’s CRM system.
    • Prepare reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and new business leads.
    • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the lead generation process.
  6. Networking & Relationship Building:
    • Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences to build relationships with potential clients.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with prospects and clients to develop long-term business.

Skills Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role is preferred.
    • Internships or relevant experience in business development will also be considered.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with potential clients.
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to achieve results.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather insights from data.
    • Basic understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and market research techniques.
