The Role
Combining your knowledge of data visualisation techniques and product management skills, you will ensure that our reporting suite becomes class-leading across our global product portfolio. The reporting suite will be world-class for our consumers, both externally and internally. You will use insight, big data, and commercial acumen to shape the future direction of our reporting capabilities.
Alongside the Head of Data Solutions, you will formulate an overarching visualisation roadmap for deliverables across all product agile release trains. You will take full ownership of the data visualisation offering whilst also going to market with data products.
You will be flexible and able to adapt to change quickly whilst also being pragmatic when supporting and shaping every data product sales opportunities.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for understanding end user requirements and scoping out reporting solutions for various use cases.
You will also be required to contribute to scoping and discovery exercises being conducted elsewhere in the business, leveraging your expert knowledge of the data and business intelligence offering and the associated data requirements in order to assess the effort required to implement specific customer or internal reporting requirements. You will be responsible for communicating any blockers or changes to timelines that arise from either of the Data Engineering or Business Intelligence teams to the Head of Data Solutions.
You will also be required to work with the Head of Data Solutions, and members of the other data teams to identify ways in which processes could be performed more elegantly, performantly or automated.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic planning for the reporting and data services portfolio

Drive commercial growth through innovation within the data products

Introduce new and grow existing commercial partnerships/strategies to maximise product
Profitability -
Define a clear vision and commercial proposition for each product within your portfolio

Collaborating with customers to help evaluate existing or new products/concepts

Definition of overall go to market propositions for key territories inc. market/competitor analysis

Define, drive and communicate the data product strategy and roadmap both
internally/externally -
Participate in high level execution planning with the Product, Engineering and Delivery teams

Generate product profit & loss analysis, revenue/cost forecasting and product penetration
Reporting -
Track and report on product performance/health using KPIs

Deliver against company and departmental OKRs and initiatives

Mentor Product Managers and their respective teams when developing new propositions

Monitor market/thematic changes and adapt approach in an agile/flexible way

Support with all data pre-sales opportunities
Being responsible for information security and data protection, and supporting the business in
complying with any legal obligations imposed upon it through positive actions.
