Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our 24/7 Operations Center, operating from the office. This role involves providing first and second-line network technical support and ensuring the delivery of technical projects, implementations, and support for our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Cisco, Meraki, wireless, security, routing, and switching solutions, with the ability to resolve incidents efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical projects and implementations related to network infrastructure.
• Maximize network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting network problems, and addressing outages.
• Schedule network upgrades and collaborate with network architects on network optimization strategies.
• Ensure the security of network systems and firewall environments by enforcing network policies.
• Process and progress Networking Team Incident/Problem cases in accordance with SLAs.
• Support network solutions involving Cisco, Meraki, wireless, security, routing, and switching technologies.
• Collaborate on network performance improvements and implement optimization measures

Skills / Knowledge & Experience:

Essential:

• Cisco CCNA certification (CCNP preferred but not mandatory) or equivalent professional experience.
• Practical knowledge of Cisco solutions and technologies, including Wireless, ASA, switches and routers, ACS.
• Proficiency in BGP/MPLS, DMVPN, and IPSEC.
• Experience in securing network systems and implementing policies for firewall environments.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and NetFlow.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective team player with the ability to prioritize workload.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of additional networking solutions such as:
  • SDWAN
  • Cisco IPSEC VPN and FlexVPN.
  • Zscaler.
  • BIG-IP F5.
  • DNS.
  • FortiGate firewalls.
  • Cisco ISE.
  • RSA Security Console.
• Previous experience working in a 24/7 Infrastructure Operations environment.

Additional Information:

This position is work from office, requiring presence during all shifts, including nights and weekends as part of the 24/7 Operations Center and office cab transport is provided for all shifts
