We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) Administrator to manage and optimize our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting systems. The administrator will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle EPBCS to support business objectives and financial operations. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • System Administration :
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Oracle EPBCS, including user access, security, and system configurations
  • Monitor system performance, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with Oracle Support as needed
  • Implement patches, updates, and upgrades to maintain system integrity and compliance
  • Planning and Forecasting Support :
  • Configure and maintain planning models (e.g., workforce, capital, financials, projects, and custom frameworks
  • Support the development and enhancement of financial reports, dashboards, and templates using Smart View, Reports, and other tools
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate data integration and reporting
  • Data Management :
  • Oversee data imports, integrations, and reconciliations between Oracle EPBCS and other systems (e.g., NetSuite, Navision)
  • Manage metadata updates, dimensions, and hierarchies to align with organizational changes
  • Process Optimization :
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement best practices and scalable solutions within EPBCS
  • Training and Support :
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users to enhance adoption and effective use of Oracle EPBCS
  • Act as the primary point of contact for user queries and troubleshooting
  • Compliance and Documentation :
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, data governance, and financial regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, workflows, and processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience:
  • Experience with Oracle EPBCS or Hyperion Planning administration
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in integrating Oracle EPBCS with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Navision)
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of EPBCS modules (Workforce Planning, Capital Planning, Financial Statements, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Smart View, Calculation Manager, Data Management, and Essbase
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, SQL) and ETL tools is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
