Reporting to the Head of HR Systems & Analytics and playing a key role in the HR Technology team, we are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP SuccessFactors Developer to join our team. The role will be a part of a fast paced, enthusiastic, and highly driven team responsible for working across the SAP SuccessFactors platform, managing the future roadmap, BAU change requests and incidents. The HR Technology team support the overall SuccessFactors set-up including, Employee Central, Time & Attendance, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Onboarding, Succession and Continuous Performance. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in additional projects across the SAP SuccessFactors platform and wider HR systems landscape. The wider scope of the role is to develop the functionality of our HR systems, which will contribute to making a best-in-class HR function.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Core SAP SuccessFactors design, development and testing for both new requirements, current BAU process and systems which from time to time require reconfiguring or improvements. Continual monitoring of the tools performance highlighting opportunities to optimise performance where possible and within budget constraints.
  • Major focus on the development of SAP Employee Central and configuration of Time & Attendance functionality, including Time Sheets.
  • Working alongside IT Application/Integration SME’s, monitoring and optimisation of the integrations between the SAP SuccessFactors platform and internal systems, including Active Directory, BOOMI as well as our third-party payroll software (ADP).
  • Working closely with SAP and our SAP AMS partner, the role will involve covering all aspects of the design, development, and integration, including research, development, testing, documentation, and delivery. The successful candidate will have both experience and willingness to work across all the above requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge to the team to install and configure the tool, and function as a point of reference for the team to resolve critical incidents/issues prior to any further escalation with SAP or our SAP AMS partner.
  • Management of configuration workbooks.
  • Take ownership of managing SAP SuccessFactors releases. Log and manage tickets with SAP support. Assist with the bi-annual system upgrades, identifying changes, regression testing and promoting opportunities for system enhancements.
  • Understand the full HR systems infrastructure to ensure data management is secure and compliant with data protection policies.
  • Assist in providing knowledge transfer and creating documentation for the HR Technology team.
  • Leading the resolution of more complex HR systems inquiries, issues, and enhancements.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • In depth SAP SuccessFactors experience across various modules. SAP SuccessFactors Certification in Employee Central and Time & Attendance. Further experience working with Onboarding, Succession, Compensation, Performance & Goals would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience configuring Time & Attendance in SAP SuccessFactors, including Time Sheets would be essential.
  • Extensive capability in supporting SAP SuccessFactors Report building, primarily in relation to EC Time and Time Sheets.
  • Experience implementing and supporting SuccessFactors Employee Central, Role-Based-Permissions, Workflow-Management, and Business Rules.
  • Experience of working with system integrations and interfaces. Have a good understanding of SAP SuccessFactors Integration Centre.
  • Experience in designing, building and operating applications in the cloud.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a range of people at various levels of the organisation, explaining technical issues using a range of styles, tools, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of change and configuration management procedures.
  • Technical experience in working on SuccessFactors Employee Central and integrations with SAP ERP and third-party platforms.
  • Experience and knowledge of HR Products and Processes.
  • Experience in working within complex technical systems/environments within a global organisation.
  • Knowledge of HR and Security statutory requirements relevant to the role with wider understanding of security, access, and authorisations.
  • Experience of working with third-party support partners.
  • Experience of providing a high-quality service in a demanding in-house customer service environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of technology projects including business change deliverables. Worked on the full project lifecycle for more than one project.
  • Experienced in managing conflicting demands in situations of pressure where priorities are rapidly changing.
  • Familiar and experience of change and incident management.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and manage own time effectively. Establish efficient work practices and work towards deadlines.
  • Can present difficult ideas well and give clear instructions to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Solution orientated and problem solving.
  • A perceptive thinker who thinks problems through to completion.
