Role Summary
As a Data Architect, you’ll be a critical leader in defining and delivering Keyloop’s enterprise data strategy. You will guide architecture decisions, ensure best-in-class data governance, and provide the technical blueprint that empowers the organization to become truly data-driven.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of Keyloop’s enterprise data architecture, ensuring alignment with business strategies and technology platforms.
- Define data principles, governance frameworks, and architectural standards for enterprise data, analytics, and integration platforms.
- Own the data strategy for structured and unstructured data across systems—including CRM, ERP, DMS, and customer-facing platforms.
- Design data models, data flow architectures, and system integrations to support analytics, operational reporting, AI/ML, and real-time decision-making.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, solution architects, and business stakeholders to define and document data needs and data platform capabilities.
- Drive implementation of modern data architecture patterns (e.g., data lakes, lakehouses, data mesh, real-time streaming).
- Establish data quality frameworks and lead data profiling, cleansing, and lineage tracking across systems.
- Work with Security and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal governance standards.
- Lead evaluation and integration of data tools, platforms, and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Kafka, dbt, Power BI).
- Oversee data integration strategy across the enterprise—including ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and event-driven data streaming.
- Contribute to the development of a Data Center of Excellence (CoE) by sharing knowledge, reusable components, and data standards.
- Provide technical leadership on data-related projects and act as SME for enterprise data architecture.
- Advocate for data literacy and promote the value of data across business and technology teams.
- Mentor data engineers, BI developers, and other stakeholders in data architecture and best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation for metadata, data lineage, and data governance.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience architecting enterprise data solutions and designing scalable data platforms.
- Proven expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), metadata management, and master data management (MDM).
- Deep understanding of data integration, transformation, and ingestion techniques using modern tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Boomi, Informatica, Talend, dbt, Apache NiFi).
- Strong familiarity with data warehousing, data lake/lakehouse architectures, and cloud-native analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery).
- Experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization best practices.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data privacy, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and influence data-driven decision making across teams.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Snowflake Architect, or CDMP are highly desirable.
