About the Role
We’re a friendly team of developers and testers passionate about building robust, data-driven solutions that make a real impact. We’re looking for a Software Engineer who loves working with TypeScript and modern frameworks like React, Next.js, Nuxt, and Nest. If you enjoy crafting clean, scalable applications and collaborating in an agile environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop high-quality web applications and backend APIs using TypeScript as your primary language.
- Build responsive, performant user interfaces with React, Next.js, and Nuxt, and develop backend services with Nest.
- Work closely with our testers and fellow developers to deliver reliable, well-tested solutions.
- Contribute to discussions on architecture, best practices, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Occasionally integrate AWS services (like Lambda, API Gateway, and S3) to support deployments and enhance functionality.
- Help us maintain strong security and data protection standards across everything we build.
What We’re Looking For- Core Skills
- Technical Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Nuxt, and Nest frameworks.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and clean coding practices (SOLID, DRY, KISS).
- Familiarity with API design (REST, GraphQL) and documentation standards (OpenAPI).
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and CodePipeline.
- Containerisation with Docker.
Other Essentials
- Comfortable working in an agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Organised, proactive, and keen to learn.
