Product Manager
Keyloop
Product
Prague, Czechia
Keyloop is the largest global automotive technology company, trusted by over 20,000 retailer sites and 80+ OEMs across more than 90 countries. Its platform strategy — Fusion — connects Keyloop’s products through a shared data layer (the Active Data Core), an open Domain Service ecosystem, and a growing portfolio of applications. AI is a central pillar of this strategy: the acquisition of Motortech.ai and its flagship product AIME embeds AI-powered customer communications across the platform, while VEGA and VEGA.ai — Keyloop’s new intelligence suite — bring predictive analytics, natural-language reporting, and automated workflows directly into the hands of dealership teams. Keyloop is not adding AI as an afterthought; it is reshaping how products are built, delivered, and evolved around it.
Underpinning Fusion is the Dealer Management System (DMS): the central operating product that connects every department within an automotive dealership — sales, service, parts, finance, and CRM — in a single system. Keyloop operates multiple DMS products across Europe (Aswin, Automaster, Dracar+, Windrakkar, and others), each tailored to the regulatory, commercial, and OEM landscape of its market, serving dealers across the Nordics, DACH, Italy, Benelux, Iberia, and beyond. This role sits where Fusion’s platform vision meets the operational reality of the DMS products that serve Keyloop’s customers every day.
Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for a Product Manager to join the EU DMS product organisation, reporting to the Head of EU DMSs. You will work across multiple Dealer Management Systems in the EU region — defining priorities, grooming the backlog rigorously alongside Product Owners, shaping roadmap direction, engaging directly with Keyloop colleagues across multiple functions, and influencing programme-level decisions. This is not a role where you wait for someone to hand you a backlog. You will identify the right problems, frame trade-offs clearly, and drive decisions that matter to Keyloop’s customers and business.
This role requires an AI-first mindset from day one. You will be expected to use AI as your default tool for how you work — from research, analysis, and stakeholder communication to backlog refinement, specification writing, and decision support. We are not looking for someone who is curious about AI; we are looking for someone who already works this way and can demonstrate it. If you still default to doing things manually when an AI-assisted approach would be faster, sharper, or more creative, this is probably not the right fit.
Key Responsibilities:
AI-First Product Thinking
• Use of AI in your own product management practice. Use LLM-based assistants, copilots, and automated analysis tools daily — for competitive research, requirements synthesis, data analysis, stakeholder communication drafting, and backlog refinement. If a task can be done faster or better with AI, you should already be doing it that way.
• Challenge the status quo on every DMS workflow you encounter. Ask “why is this still manual?” and “what would this look like if we built it AI-first?” — whether it is service scheduling, parts ordering, document processing, warranty claims, or customer communications.
• Stay deeply current with AI developments in enterprise SaaS and automotive retail. Bring informed, opinionated perspectives to the team on where AI creates genuine advantage and where it introduces risk — including accuracy thresholds, data quality, and user trust.
• Champion responsible AI adoption across the product organisation, ensuring AI-driven features meet GDPR, accuracy, and transparency standards — while pushing back on the instinct to over-govern innovation before it has been tested.
• Influence the broader product team to think differently about how AI changes the economics and experience of product delivery itself — from AI-assisted grooming and specification writing to automated testing, release analysis, and customer feedback synthesis.
Roadmap & Strategy
• Own and communicate the product roadmap for your DMS scope, aligning it with Keyloop’s broader platform strategy (Fusion, ADC, OEM interfaces).
• Translate market signals, customer feedback, and OEM requirements into a prioritised set of themes, initiatives, and epics.
• Participate in and influence PI (Program Increment) planning cycles, ensuring your product area’s priorities are well-represented and clearly justified.
• Make deliberate trade-off decisions between new feature development, technical debt reduction, platform migration work (e.g. cloud transitions, dependency removal), and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain a clear view of the competitive landscape in the European DMS market, identifying opportunities for differentiation.
Backlog & Delivery
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the team backlog is well-groomed, clearly prioritised, and aligned with roadmap objectives.
• Define epics and acceptance criteria with enough clarity that engineering teams can estimate, plan, and deliver with confidence.
• Ensure delivery quality through active participation in iteration reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
• Establish and maintain a clear definition of ‘stable’ and ‘done’ for product increments, particularly for cross-product integrations (e.g. DMS-to-Service Hub, OEM interfaces).
• Monitor delivery metrics and use data to surface risks, unblock teams, and improve predictability.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Engage directly with enterprise customers and dealer groups to understand their operational pain points, validate product direction, and gather feedback on delivered features.
• Build strong working relationships with regional stakeholders across engineering, support, professional services, sales, and OEM teams.
• Represent the product function in cross-functional forums, clearly articulating priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Prepare and deliver stakeholder communications (programme updates, investment cases, go-to-market briefs) that are clear, data-informed, and actionable.
• Act as the primary product point of contact for your DMS scope when interacting with OEM partners and Keyloop’s commercial organisation.
Cross-Product & Platform Thinking
• Work across multiple DMS products, identifying patterns, shared requirements, and opportunities for convergence or reuse.
• Contribute to platform-level decisions around API design, data architecture (ADC/UDM), and integration standards that affect the broader DMS portfolio.
• Collaborate with other Product Managers across Keyloop to ensure coherent customer experiences across the platform ecosystem.
• Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation efforts from a product perspective — defining customer impact, rollout sequencing, and communication plans.
Skills, Know-How & Experience:
Required
• 4–7 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or platform-based technology environments.
• Proven ability to own a product area end-to-end — from discovery and prioritisation through delivery and post-launch iteration.
• Strong experience working with Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks, including backlog management, PI planning, and close collaboration with Product Owners and engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to engage enterprise customers and translate complex operational requirements into clear product specifications.
• Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leadership, commercial teams, and external partners.
• Practical experience using AI tools in product management workflows — such as LLM-based assistants for research, analysis, communication drafting, or backlog
refinement. We expect candidates to demonstrate how AI enhances their productivity and decision-making today, not just awareness of AI concepts.
• Understanding of API-driven architectures, platform ecosystems, and integration patterns — you don’t need to write code, but you need to understand how systems connect and where integration complexity lives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Other European languages are an advantage.
• Comfortable working remotely in a distributed, cross-cultural team environment spanning multiple European time zones.
Preferred
• Experience in automotive retail technology, dealer management systems, or adjacent verticals (e.g. fleet management, vehicle financing, aftermarket services).
• Familiarity with OEM integration requirements and manufacturer compliance frameworks within the automotive industry.
• Understanding of financial processes within dealerships — invoicing, warranty claims, parts procurement — and how they interact with DMS workflows.
What Keyloop Offers:
• A role with genuine ownership and impact — your decisions shape products used by thousands of dealerships across Europe.
• Exposure to a complex, multi-product, multi-market technology landscape that will stretch your product thinking.
• A collaborative, distributed team culture that values directness, curiosity, and getting things done.
• Flexible remote working within the Czech Republic.
