Role Purpose:

The Collections Manager is responsible for leading Keyloop’s global collections function within a centralised Shared Services model, based in Prague.

This role owns end-to-end collections strategy, operational delivery, and team performance, ensuring strong cash collection outcomes, reduced bad debt exposure, and a scalable, standardised operating model across all regions.

The role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight, partnering closely with Finance, Sales, and Customer teams to proactively manage customer risk, resolve disputes, and improve working capital performance.

Role & Responsibilities

    General :
    • Global responsibility for collections performance across UK, EMEA, and Rest of World
    • Leadership of a multi-layered team structure including Team Leads, Analysts and operational staff
    • Ownership of collections strategy, performance framework, and policy
    • Delivery of services through a centralised Shared Services hub
    • Accountability for ledger quality, cash collection, and credit risk mitigation
    • Strategy & Leadership

      • Define and deliver the global collections strategy aligned to Shared Services objectives
      • Set clear targets and performance expectations across regions
      • Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads and wider collections team
      • Build a high-performing, scalable collections capability in Prague
      • Drive a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
      • Operational Delivery

        • Oversee end-to-end collections activities across all regions
        • Ensure consistent execution of processes, controls, and policies
        • Maintain ownership of the collections ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution
        • Act as escalation point for complex, high-value, or sensitive accounts
        • Manage relationships with third-party collection agencies where applicable
        • Performance Management & Reporting

          • Define and track key KPIs (e.g. DSO, collections rate, bad debt)
          • Produce regular reporting and insights for senior leadership
          • Own collections forecasting and cash flow projections
          • Identify performance gaps and drive corrective action
          • Stakeholder Management

            • Partner with Sales, Account Management, and Finance to resolve disputes and reduce overdue balances
            • Provide insights on customer payment behaviour and credit risk
            • Influence senior stakeholders to support improved collections outcomes
            • Process Improvement & Transformation

              • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention
              • Drive standardisation of collections processes across regions
              • Support transformation to a centralised Shared Services model
              • Leverage reporting and analytics to enable data-driven decisions
              • Governance & Compliance

                • Ensure compliance with relevant credit control regulations and internal policies
                • Maintain appropriate controls, audit readiness, and documentation
                • Ensure consistent application of policies across all jurisdictions

Skills & Experience

    Essential

    • Proven experience in a senior collections or credit control leadership role
    • Experience managing multi-regional or global teams
    • Track record of improving DSO and reducing bad debt
    • Strong leadership and people management capability
    • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g. SAP, Netsuite, Salesforce)
    • Desirable

      • Experience in a Shared Services or centralised operating model
      • Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional collections processes
      • Experience with collections automation, reporting, or analytics tooling
      • Professional qualification (e.g. CICM)
