The Business Analyst will sit within our newly developed Business Efficiencies Team focused on defining business processes, surfacing the most manual or at risk of human error, and providing a short term execution option via a combination of process redesign and Robotic Process Engineering (RPA). We serve internal stakeholders across all operations and administrative functions.

Our products and technology have gone through significant transformation over the last few years and, as such this role will provide analysis to further the continuation of this journey whilst maximising business impact and process optimisation across our business. We want you to recognise and explore opportunities within the business for delivering continuous improvement, understand how change solutions will logically flow into the existing or new business processes across the organisation and work with business users to investigate and document business functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using various methodical and consistent techniques.

WHAT DOES A BUSINESS ANALYST DO AT KOBALT?

• You work across a broad and diverse mix of stakeholders, using analysis to aid decision making, aligning to overarching business objectives and define KPIs against product metrics and develop strategies.
• You build a high performing analysis capability; understanding the business area or operating model that a change will be impacting through business domain modelling of the processes, information, stakeholders and policies.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You have a real passion for creating clarity out of large, complex areas as well as energy to drive change and facilitate conversations and build a connective tissue between teams.
• You have extensive knowledge of business analysis methodologies as well as experience in conducting risk analysis and assessing trade off decisions between conflicting priorities.
• You can operate independently on both strategy and execution of analysis to senior stakeholders.
• You will have experience in working with roadmaps with deadlines and targets in mind, aligning to overarching business objectives and analysing scope of work.
• You can visualise complex information in succinct and impactful messaging in presentation format.
