This position will sit in our Business Efficiencies Team and will require someone with experience in working across multiple RPA initiatives. The increasing complexity of our systems and processes means that we need constant and iterative analysis across our business. We need someone to facilitate understanding of business requirements, read “as-is” process documentation and recommend steer and execute RPA solutions across our exciting transformation programmes

The Business Efficiencies Team is a newly developed team focused on defining business processes, surfacing the most manual or at risk of human error, and providing a short term execution option via a combination of process redesign and Robotic Process Engineering (RPA). We serve internal stakeholders across all operations and administrative functions.

Additionally we’re looking for someone to contribute and steer our overarching RPA policy, strategy and infrastructure, and coach a team of “citizen developers” as they work on short term tactical automations within their teams

WHAT DOES AN RPA ENGINEER DO AT KOBALT?

  • You design, develop, test, deploy and document automation workflows and create reusable components.
  • You implement and configure programs, scripts and objects that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
  • You analyse business processes to suggest process improvements and develop RPA solutions around them.
  • You refine best practices and documentation, support existing automations/processes and implement change requests as well as problem-solve issues that arise in day to day running of processes.
  • You act as the technical lead of the citizen developer team.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You need at least 2-3+ years experience with process reengineering, software development and RPA technologies, specifically UiPath (proficiency in other coding languages is a plus).
  • You have an ability to break down business problems into logical tasks and think creatively.
  • Experience within the creative and/or e-commerce industries as well as UiPath certification (UiARD) is a plus, but not required.
