Job Title: Senior Manager, Product Engineering- Reach
Job Summary:
RevSpring is building a product engineering team within our Provider Data Management product
space, focused on building innovative, healthcare-specific digital marketing solutions. These
products ensure consumers can discover accurate, trusted provider and location information
wherever they search and shop for care—across major search engines, online directories, and
emerging AI-driven experiences.
We are seeking an Engineering Leader to found, lead, and grow a new team in this space. This
role combines deep technical leadership, hands-on architecture and development, people
management responsibility, and strong product thinking. The Principal Engineer will hire and
manage a small team of engineers while also helping shape product direction and delivering
early product capabilities.
This role operates as part of RevSpring’s broader technology organization and requires close
alignment with existing platforms, standards, and teams.
Essential Functions:
Technical Leadership & Architecture
  • Own the technical vision and architecture for new products in digital listings and
reputation management
  • Design and build scalable, cloud-native systems using AWS and AWS managed services
(e.g., Lambda and serverless architectures)
  • Make informed technology and language choices based on product needs, team skills,
and long-term sustainability
  • Ensure systems are secure, reliable, observable, and built for scale
  • Remain hands-on in key areas of design and implementation, particularly in early product
stages
Product-Oriented Engineering
  • Act as a hybrid product manager and engineer, contributing meaningfully to product
discovery and definition
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Data, and Design to shape product scope,
sequencing, and tradeoffs
  • Help translate customer, market, and business needs into technical and product
requirements
  • Bring a strong point of view on MVP definition, iteration strategy, and value delivery
Team & People Leadership
  • Hire, onboard, and manage a small, high-performing engineering team
  • Serve as the direct people manager for engineers, providing coaching, feedback, and
career development
  • Establish clear expectations around delivery, quality, collaboration, and accountability
  • Build an inclusive, high-trust team culture aligned with RevSpring values
Ecosystem & Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Work effectively within RevSpring’s broader technology ecosystem, aligning with shared
platforms, tools, and standards
  • Collaborate with peer engineering and product leaders to ensure interoperability and
reduce duplication
  • Contribute to technical and product strategy beyond the immediate team
Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
yoPrincipal-Level Technical Expertise
  • Extensive experience designing and delivering production-grade, cloud-based systems
  • Strong architectural skills across distributed systems, APIs, and data-centric platforms
  • Deep experience with AWS and cloud-native services; serverless experience strongly
preferred
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals; experience with Python is a plus, but we
welcome candidates with expertise in other modern languages and ecosystems who can
recommend appropriate technologies
Product Leadership & Product Thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a hybrid engineer/product partner
  • Experience contributing to product definition, roadmap shaping, or discovery activities
  • Strong instincts around prioritization, tradeoffs, and delivering customer value
  • Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces with evolving requirements
Engineering Leadership & Management
  • Proven experience managing engineers as direct reports
  • Demonstrated success hiring and growing engineering teams
  • Ability to set technical direction while remaining delivery- and outcome-focused
  • Clear, effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
  • Experience in healthcare technology, provider data, or regulated data environments
  • Familiarity with search platforms, structured data, digital marketing systems, or AIdriven
discovery
  • Experience working within a larger, multi-team technology organization
  • Prior experience building new teams or launching new products from scratch

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
