| Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Frontend Do you want to solve the hardest problems in healthcare as you build the services that help millions of people find the right doctors, understand their costs, and choose the next best step for their care, alongside some of the most talented engineers you’ve ever worked with? As a Senior Software Engineer on the Health Plan Applications and Services team, you will be responsible for developing the application for our member-facing experience, ensuring our established systems remain robust while we architect the next generation of care guidance tools. You will have the opportunity to write a significant amount of code and build deep expertise in system design while solving the complex technical problems required to deliver our newest products. You’ll work primarily in a frontend stack including Javascript, TypeScript, and React. You will collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional partners (Product, Backend, and Implementation) to deliver a seamless and performant experience for our users. This position requires an engineer who is comfortable moving between the maintenance of established infrastructure and the building of new services. Our established infrastructure requires a disciplined hand to maintain and refine, so we need a pragmatic builder who can effectively manage and optimize our core systems while simultaneously architecting cutting-edge solutions. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
