Senior UX Designer (Design System) at GoTo

When you join our Chameleon Design System team, you’ll impact the experience of millions of users worldwide. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining the visual language, interaction patterns, and technical specifications that ensure consistency and efficiency in the design and development process. You’ll work closely with our design, engineering, and product management teams to bring visions to life and shape how our products look and function. Ultimately, making our products user-centered and accessible. Join us and help create a seamless experience from log-on to log-off.

Your Day to Day

As a Senior UX Designer (Design System) you would be working on:

• Establish, document, and maintain design standards, components, and guidelines that ensure consistency and coherence across all design elements.

• Work strategically as a partner with designers and engineers on design system feedback, improvements, and contributions while assuring compliance across the organization.

• Create high-quality mockups and interactive prototypes to communicate your work.

• Advocate for design by sharing your work and presenting cross-functionally. Be able to precisely articulate design rationale and goals.

What We’re Looking For

As a Senior UX Designer (Design System) your background will look like this:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, or 2+ years relevant experience with design systems

• Advanced skills in web applications, modular component design, and systems design

• Highly experienced in UI design, usability, and accessibility

• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively with design and development teams

• Established understanding of front-end development - but not responsible to code
