Community Manager at GoTo:
Join our dynamic User Experience team as a Community Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and innovation within two vital spheres— the Design System and Accessibility Champions communities.
In this exciting position within the Design System team, you'll lead the charge in building and nurturing two distinct yet interwoven communities. As the driving force behind our Chameleon Design System community, you’ll work closely with our design, engineering, and product management teams to bring visions to life and shape how our community contributes and participates.
Simultaneously, as the torchbearer for our Accessibility Champions community, you'll champion inclusivity and user-centric design. Your passion for accessibility will empower a network of advocates dedicated to making our products universally accessible.

Your Day to Day
As a Community Manager, you would be working on:
Community Engagement: Cultivate and nurture an active and engaged design system community across all GoTo. Foster collaborative decision-making among designers, developers, and other stakeholders to encourage the sharing of best practices and ideas.
Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively promote the design system and its updates. Create and curate content such as blog posts, newsletters, and social media updates to keep the community informed and inspired.
Education and Training: Conduct workshops, webinars, and training sessions to educate internal teams and external contributors on design system principles and usage. Provide ongoing support and guidance to community members seeking assistance with implementing the design system.
Feedback Management: Gather feedback from the community and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and updates to the design system. Act as a bridge between users and the design system team, ensuring that the community's voice is heard and valued.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for the design system, including guidelines, patterns, and best practices. Ensure that documentation is easily accessible and user-friendly for all community members.
What We’re Looking For
As a Community Manager, your background will look like this:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5+ years of experience.
Track record of leading by influence and collaboration, resulting into a delightful and resilient community.
Strong understanding of design systems and accessibility and their role in product development.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in tools and platforms commonly used in design and development communities.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
