Where you’ll work: Hungary (Remote)

Payroll at GoTo:
A working from home opportunity for an excellent self-motivated Payroll Specialist. The role offers large scope for personal and professional growth in multi-regional payrolls. As part of the Finance Payroll Team you will report to the Payroll Supervisor remotely.

Your Day to Day

As a Payroll Specialist, you would be working on:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of payrolls for multiple countries, this will include strong operational experience of Hungarian payroll.
  • Support the Payroll Team in ongoing payroll enhancement and projects.
  • Gather input and check output of the monthly and/or bi-weekly payrolls.
  • Cross train within the Payroll Team to cover payrolls during team absences.
  • Work with in-country providers (ICPs) across your dedicated countries while maintaining excellent relationships and service levels.
  • Maintain payroll records and reporting in a tidy and diligent manner.
  • Respond to all employee payroll queries promptly with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with local in-country reporting requirements, legislations, payments and deductions.
  • Comprehensively understand your payrolls by seeking out training and other areas knowledge in your newly assigned countries, e.g. Brazil.
  • Adhere to strict deadlines but don’t wait for them.
  • Be adaptable to and embrace other ad-hoc duties that arise.

What we’re looking for

As a Payroll Specialist, your background will look like:

  • 3rd Level qualification and/or payroll specific certification desired.
  • Minimum 3 years strong payroll experience in an international payroll environment.
  • Knowledge of running multiple countries payroll through an ICP is necessary.
  • Exceptional and proven customer service skills verbal and written through English.
  • Be obsessive about attention to detail and work to tight deadlines in a calm and dedicated manner.
  • Great Excel skills and formulae knowledge.
  • Have technical proficiency and embraces technological advancements.
