What you'll do
- Work with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk teams to understand contractual terms and revenue recognition principles
- Review contracts and ensure proper revenue recognition treatment and documentation of non-standard revenue transactions
- Drive process improvements within the Quote to Cash process, including system improvements and automation projects
- Assist with accounting close and reporting process and perform analysis on numbers
- Understand new product offerings and go-to-market strategies for revenue considerations
- Support annual audits and provide reconciliations and ad hoc requests
- Provide guidance to billing and collections team to support the whole quote to cash process
Who you are
- Minimum of 3+ years of revenue accounting experience in high-growth SaaS industry, including a minimum of 2 years at a public accounting firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study; CPA is preferred
- Working knowledge of general accounting concepts and ASC 606;
- Proficiency in Excel is required, knowledge and experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experienced with working with various stakeholders or cross-functional departments
