The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is at the heart of this mission, developing the core data models that empower the business, enabling downstream self-service reporting and executive dashboards that provide key insights that support the growth of our business. This role is critical in ensuring that our data infrastructure supports the strategic objectives of the organization and enables business intelligence capabilities across the company. We are seeking a qualified candidate who is a data expert, has a keen eye for identifying valuable trends in data, understands how to translate data observations into valuable business recommendations, can work their way around large/complex data sets with ease, ‘gets’ data, has excellent teamwork skills, solid communication skills and strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Job Description:-

• Help define the strategic direction for our data modeling that will enable scalable, efficient, and secure data access for business teams to use for self-service reporting and executive dashboards.
• Help establish a data warehouse strategy, designing how teams may find, access and query tables to build downstream reports.
• Provide technical leadership in data modeling best practices, standards, and methodologies to ensure the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance data models.
• Identifying Valuable Insights – Through analysis and intuition, the right candidate will be able sift through large, complex dataset and identify valuable insights.
• Data Transparency – Improve the decision making of the entire team by providing standard data sets and reports that are easily accessible for the rest of the team to use.
• Act as the data modeling SME (Subject Matter Expert) for cross-functional strategic projects, consulting with project teams to propose and deliver effective solutions.
• Help implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Engage with business function stakeholders to understand their data needs and recommend solutions that will enhance their reporting and decision-making.
• Communicate complex data modeling concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Closely partner with data integration, reporting and governance teams to ensure clear communication, alignment on handoffs and consistent practices.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data modeling projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Monitor and communicate project progress to leadership and stakeholders, adjusting as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
• Optimize internal processes and tools to enable timely and successful project execution.
  

Qualifications:-

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or a related role involving the development of data models and databases in a rapidly scaling business environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced SQL, data modeling, and data architecture
• 5 years of experience building data modeling within a SAAS environment with deep understanding of SAAS business metrics
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
• Experience creating dashboards, manipulating datasets, and performing data analysis using SQL and data visualization tools
• Solid organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects easily while meeting deadlines
• Strong communication skills with an ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
• NetSuite, Salesforce and Power BI experience is required
