About the Role
We are searching for a highly motivated and organized People Operations and Benefits Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting our employees throughout their entire lifecycle, from recruitment to retirement. This role offers a variety of exciting challenges, including benefits administration, compliance oversight, and immigration support. This is an individual contributor role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
  • Design and optimize employee benefits strategies to align with organizational goals.
  • Evaluate vendor offerings and negotiate contracts to maximize value for employees and the organization.
  • Provide periodic benefit utilization reports and recommend adjustments for cost-efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Coordinate open enrollment periods and ensure clear communication to employees regarding plan options.
  • Ensure solid backend benefits management hygiene.
  • Ensure new hires, changes and offboarding are actioned timely. Monitor data transfers between ADP and plan platforms.
  • Manage monthly benefits billing reconciliation, monitor and ensure closure of all outstanding items.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking HR metrics, including benefits participation, costs, and employee satisfaction.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of HR data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with finance and leadership to prepare reports on workforce trends, benefits ROI, and HR compliance metrics.
  • Troubleshoot employee benefit issues and liaise with benefit providers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Manage the immigration process for new hires, including visa applications and renewals.
  • Partner with managers to address employee concerns and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on various HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees, providing them with the necessary information and resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Process payroll changes, leaves of absence, and other administrative tasks.
  • Prepare reports and data analysis to support HR initiatives.
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR Operations role, with at least 3 years handling benefits and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
