Merative IT Operations team is seeking senior ServiceNow Architect to manage and support an existing ServiceNow environment.
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow solutions for large scale projects.

  • Mentor and advisor to ServiceNow Administrators/Developers

  • Responsible for front-to-end solution being delivered on the ServiceNow platform.

  • Be an expert in ServiceNow best practices and the products we implement.

  • Lead the integration of ServiceNow with diverse enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and enhanced functionality.

  • Establish and enforce ServiceNow development standards, championing best practices in coding, security, and architecture within the platform.

  • Advanced problem-solving support, lead and assistance in various complex situations.

  • Provide support for the creation, maintenance, and debugging of data integration and Discovery jobs/schedules.

  • Provide support in managing the ServiceNow environments (Dev, Test and Production).

  • Well versed in creating/modifying portal catalog items, workflows, flow designer flows, portal widgets, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, etc.

  • Provide ServiceNow Platform administration, configuration, and development following Agile processes and using industry best practices.

  • Provide and lead ServiceNow patching, upgrades, and applications deployments to ensure compliance with the current ServiceNow platform.

  • Performance day-to-day administration of the platform

  • Maintains the stability and usability of the platform across production and non-production environments.

  • Performs application maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification and remediation.

  • Manages support for incidents.

  • Participates in upgrade planning and execution.

  • Manages instance security: user/group access, administration, access control lists. etc.

  • Responsible for data integrations such as Discovery or 3rd party solutions to enrich CI’s in the CMDB

  • Determines which integration method(s) will be used, integration directionality, and attributes.

  • Participates in any data normalization required prior to being imported / inserted into ServiceNow.

  • Participates in platform, process, and integration testing.

  • Design, Code, and Test catalog requests using FLOW

  • Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery.

Basic Qualification:

  • 5+ years of extensive experience working with ServiceNow, including architecture design and implementation.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, integrations, and scripting

  • Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM principles

  • Experienced in ServiceNow's ITSM, Service Portal, Discovery ITOM, Integration Hub or REST/SOAP Web Services, Security Incident Response modules.

  • Fundamental understanding of key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions, including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS.

  • Experience scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript (Business Rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI pages, AngularJS, Jelly, etc.).

  • Experience using agile/scrum methodology, leading scrum teams, and leading backlog grooming.

Preferred Qualification:

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Knowledge of ITIL; ITIL certified preferred.
