The Scrum Master aligns to our Enterprise applications teams (3 in total focused on Oracle back-office application, HRIT application and CRM application) to facilitate Agile Teams’ performance and health. They mentor, coach and train people and Agile Teams on Agile values and principles, and Scrum and Kanban practices. They collaborate with the Agile teams to build and refine proven industry practices and processes for Agile Product Delivery and Team and Technical Agility. They coach the Agile teams to enable continuous improvement, provide transparency for risks and overall progress to stakeholders, and function as a change leader to role model and reinforce the Agile mindset shift. They have a demonstrated ability to partner, build effective relationships and collaborate to plan and execute the Agile Teams agreed upon objectives.

Responsibilities include:

Facilitate iteration planning, team syncs (daily scrums), iteration reviews, anditeration retrospectives to ensure effective delivery of value, and a focus on relentless improvement.
Manage Enterprise wide projects that cross three application teams – Oracle ERP, HRIT and CRM applications
Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right people to help facilitate resolution.
Help the product owner and the team achieve customer satisfaction by predictably delivering high quality value.
Coach, mentor and train the team on Agile values and principles, and the Agile practices that enliven the Agile values and principles.
Manage Agile metrics through the lens of identifying areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between Agile teams, product owners, stakeholders, and leaders.
Help the teams improve their flow of work, eliminating bottlenecks, delays, and waste.
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on collaboration, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and lead by example.
Facilitate preparation for PI (quarterly) Planning and facilitate PI Planning, including planning and coordination of dependencies, and identification of risks.


Qualifications include:

Experience working as a Scrum Master on multiple Agile teams
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or other scaling agile frameworks
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe ScrumMaster (SSM) or equivalent Agile certification(s)
Experience with Agile workflow management tools, including Atlassian, Rally, or similar Agile workflow management tooling
Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
