In this role you will work with the world’s most influential enterprises to transform business operations with new technology. You will leverage in-depth knowledge, experience and insight to address clients’ business issues (which may include client, industry or technology related pressures) with solutions that improves the client's return on investment.

To be successful in this role you need to be passionate about driving better outcomes for citizens and have a proven track record in the delivery of solutions with experience of UX and accessibility.

Responsibilities

  • Research, analysis, definition and documentation of customer requirements. Analysing the business requirements of our customers and writing the functional documentation & user stories required by the technical consultants who customise our software.
  • You will have particular focus on requirements related to user Interfaces and user experience, including accessibility, as we localise our solutions to meet the needs of individual customers.
  • Become a Cúram product functional expert, giving demonstrations of the software capabilities, performing fit/ gap analysis and advising on the best approach to implementing solutions using the product.
  • Act as the point of contact for business related questions and issues that arise and require clarification, working closely with the senior technical consultants.
  • Act as a focal point for the design and development team when discussing design options and the various merits of different approaches.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to less experienced members of the team.
  • To scope Proofs of Concepts (POCs), if necessary, with technical support.
  • Lead JAD sessions when required.
  • Analyse requests from Clients and requirements complete detailed work estimates.
  • Prioritise and document solution requirements including:
    - Use case and/or process flows
    - User Stories
    - Data definitions and/or logical data models
    - Screen design and story boarding
    - QA and test case development

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • Experience as a Senior Business Analyst, working for a large information technology consulting firm OR experience working for a public sector agency, in the delivery of information technology related projects.
  • Experience in gathering, modelling and explaining requirements in the area of UX design.
  • Experience in accessibility in IT systems, including tooling and WCAG standards.
  • Experience with business process analysis (Use Cases and/or process flows) and mapping (Gap Analysis) techniques.
  • Ability to document, understand, analyse and improve business processes.
  • Ability to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes and advising the team on the best approach.
  • Ability to help teams to manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work and work to agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with customers, system integration partners and technicians.
  • Solid team building, problem resolution and decision-making skills.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise :

  • A comprehensive understanding of how to implement and customize Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) functionality to meet requirements.
