Senior Network Engineer role is designed to design, implement and manage datacenter networks of IBM Watson Health. Engineer will work with cross functional teams in understanding complex network issues in LAN/WAN and resolve them as per standard ITIL process. He/She will be working in a team or independently on the network projects like consolidations, implementations, migrations and upgrades and report the same to Network Manager and Project Managers. Participate in design discussions and prepare SOPs, HLD and LLD documents for the network projects.
Your Role and Responsibilities :
As a Senior Network Engineer you will be responsible to:
Design, implement and provide operational support for these network platforms:
Cisco Switching: both Nexus and ACI.
Cisco WAN and routing technologies. Checkpoint Firewalls as well as Cisco Firewalls. F5 LTM Load Balancers
Work with other technology teams, offering management and engineering teams to design solutions to meet customer and product commitments.
Lead IT projects working within the Merative project management framework and provide guidance to other network team members.
Provide technical support and leadership during major network and IT events.
Work with Security and various audit teams to document and validate compliance requirements.
Self-motivated individual capable of learning/developing skillsets in new cloud technologies (Azure/OCI) Participate in on call rotation and support network activities and resolve incidents
