The Truven Health Plan Account Executive will maintain and cultivate relationships with named strategic accounts. The primary goal and responsibility are to strengthen partnerships with our most strategic clients, focusing on experience with data and software. This includes reinforcing our existing footprint, expanding with new offerings and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Establishing robust relationships at all levels within the client organization will be vital to the achievement of this position.This role will be responsible for executing, tracking, and reporting progress on all metrics and goals to their Executive Managing Director. They also will take the lead in managing cross-functional internal subject matter stakeholders to exceed all client expectations of the partnership. This would include but not limited to resources from Support, Product Management, Finance, Sales Operations and the Executive Leadership Team.
Responsibilities:
- Performance Excellence: Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to exceeding sales quotas through strategic planning and effective execution
- Conduct regular bi-weekly call cadence with strategic clients, fostering meaningful communication, and proactively schedule onsite visits once a quarter per client to strengthen relationships and align business objectives.
- Establish formal references that are reliable and available to speak on behalf of their experience with Truven and our offerings
- Complete quarterly business review plans for assigned accounts, identifying opportunities, reviewing current challenges and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with all internal departments to ensure that committed client requests are fulfilled and all expectations are exceeded
- Problem-solve to help facilitate and/or resolve customer challenges or needs
- Develop customer account plans and keep track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires – Quarterly Business Reviews
- Research what the latest events in the health plan market that could result in an upsell opportunity for clients.
- Identify opportunities and achieve commitment for customer success stories, marketing and speaking engagement for customers participating in the program and creating an environment for cross collaboration with our customers

- Strong understanding of health plan market strategy.
- Understand and be able to read Statements of Work and Legal Contracts
- Good working knowledge of Salesforce Experience and Microsoft suite an asset
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ Years’ Account Management experience
- Health Plan Client Relationship management
- Proven capabilities to build client trust
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or min of 7 years relevant business experience
Work Environment:
- Remote - Home office that allows you to work efficiently and without disruption
- 50% travel may be required
