Truven is seeking a skilled and passionate Sr. Director, Professional Services Consulting – Cross Functional to serve as a strategic leader responsible for managing the analytic support functions of our healthcare analytics and consulting team. This includes onboarding, training, and base analytic support (client success managers, reporting specialists) across our book of business using a combination of onshore and offshore resources, as well as driving process improvement activities. If you’re excited about meaningful work, energized by big challenges, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves with a team that values rigor, integrity, and impact—we’d love to hear from you.

How you will contribute:

  • Oversee the analytic support operations across the healthcare analytics and consulting team, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across the client portfolio. Set clear goals and objectives, provide guidance, and evaluate performance while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Design and manage onboarding for new team members.

  • Design, create documentation and lead all product training initiatives for internal staff and client contacts; ensure alignment with client expectations and analytic standards.

  • Effectively manage a blended team of onshore and offshore resources, optimizing capabilities and skillsets to flexibly meet business needs and client demands.

  • Develop and maintain best practices for analytic reporting support, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficient delivery of user support.

  • Identify, implement, and support process improvements across the business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, scalability, and quality of deliverables.

About You

You are a seasoned leader with a passion for transforming healthcare through data-driven insights and operational excellence. You bring a unique blend of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and people leadership to drive scalable, high-impact solutions across complex organizations.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics); advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, or similar) preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, or client success, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing cross-functional teams.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the proven ability to manage large cross-functional teams and influence change at a strategic level.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for client engagements and team collaboration.
