The Role

Truven is seeking a skilled and passionate Sr. Director, Professional Services Consulting - Employer & PPS to serve as a strategic leader responsible for managing a book of business in support of our healthcare analytics and employer decision-making solutions. This role leads client delivery teams, collaborating closely with sales and product development to ensure we meet or exceed client expectations. How you will contribute:

• Oversee the relationship between Merative and its clients, driving client engagement and ensuring client satisfaction and renewal targets are consistently met/exceeded

• Lead and manage a team of healthcare analysts responsible for delivering strategic, data-driven insights to clients using proprietary healthcare analytics tools. Set clear goals and objectives, provide guidance and support, and evaluate performance. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing and senior leadership on thought leadership and product development. Implement strategies to enhance the client experience and identify opportunities to improve products and services.

• Serve as a senior point of contact for client escalations and strategic discussions, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with client goals

• Identify, implement, and support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, team productivity, and overall service delivery.

About You

You are a seasoned leader with a passion for transforming healthcare through data-driven insights and operational excellence. You bring a unique blend of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and people leadership to drive scalable, high-impact solutions across complex organizations.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, or similar) preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, or employer-focused solutions, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

• Excellent understanding of healthcare data, employer decision-making processes, and analytics tools.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Ability to travel up to 50% as needed for client engagements and team collaboration
