We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in both automation and manual testing to join our fast-paced product development team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of automation experience and demonstrate the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, effective cross-team collaboration, and a strong passion for delivering quality in an Agile development environment.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using custom automation frameworks.
Execute manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Analyse complex requirements and define comprehensive test plans and scenarios.
Use Git and Visual Studio Code for version control and test development.
Implement and manage UI locators effectively using XPath and CSS selectors.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and architects, and actively participate in Agile ceremonies.
Utilize JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and sprint planning.
Provide input to QA strategy discussions and help enhance automation processes.
Leverage AI tools to increase test coverage, efficiency, and defect prediction.
Ensure QA practices align with organizational quality standards and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Mentor junior QA engineers and support team knowledge-sharing efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Total 5–8 years of experience in QA (manual + automation), with a minimum of 5 years in automation.
Strong programming skills in JavaScript , python, Java and Selenium.
Hands-on experience with:
Git (branches, pull requests, versioning)
GitHub Copilot or other AI-paired programming tools
Node.js, npm, Visual Studio Code
API testing using tools like Postman, SOAP UI
UI automation using XPath and CSS selectors
Experience with custom automation frameworks or a strong ability to adapt to them.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
Good to Have
Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
Prior experience using AI-driven QA tools for automation or defect prediction.
Compensation
The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
