As an Inside Sales Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving Zelta to success. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and sell Zelta to small pharma, device and CRO accounts and to work with existing clients to execute changes in scope to grow the business. You will work closely with the Marketing and Client Success teams to understand the unique needs of our clients and tailor our solutions to meet those needs. This role involves understanding the clinical trial needs of life science organizations to help drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Identify and target key decision-makers within your account based territory.

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive SaaS solution sales to accounts.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Zelta platform and the professional services we provide.

  • Be able to demonstrate and communicate how our solutions can address specific challenges of life science organizations.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.

Market Research:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

  • Utilize market research to identify opportunities for product improvement.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and materials that resonate with Life Science clients.

  • Work with the product development team to relay client feedback and requirements for continuous improvement.

Sales Metrics:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.

  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in SaaS solution sales with Life Science companies, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong knowledge of the life science industry, including industry regulations and trends.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Work Environment:

  • Remote - Home office that allows you to work efficiently and without disruption.

  • Travel may be required 3-4 times per year for Team meetings and Annual Sales Meetings. Additional travel may be asked for client meetings but is not necessarily required.

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
