Your role as HR Officer at Xsens

As our HR Officer, you are the first point of contact for employees and managers on a wide range of HR-related topics. You play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate HR administration, while also coordinating processes and collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external service providers.

With a strong focus on administrative excellence, you are responsible for the correct and timely processing of personnel and payroll-related data. In addition, you support and coordinate HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding and expat administration, ensuring a seamless employee experience.

You will be part of our HR team and report to the HR Manager. The role is based in Enschede, the Netherlands. This is a part-time position, 24-32 hours per week.

Key challenges:

  • Act as the primary HR contact for employees, answering questions and providing support on HR policies, payroll, benefits, and procedures.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of personnel data and changes, including hires, terminations, leave administration, salary changes, and bonus payments. Maintain close communication with the payroll provider to guarantee a smooth payroll process.

  • Coordinate and execute all administrative processes related to the employee lifecycle, including expat arrangements (e.g. 30% ruling), parental leave, and other HR-related administration. Ensure accurate handling of documentation, compliance with applicable regulations, and smooth alignment with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

  • Serve as the main contact for external HR service providers (e.g. payroll, pension, insurance) and ensure effective collaboration with internal stakeholders

  • Maintain and continuously improve our HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, user-friendliness, and alignment with HR processes and organizational needs

Job requirements

Xsens is looking for a proactive and independent HR Officer. Someone who thrives in an environment where your service-oriented approach is highly appreciated. You have:

  • Working and thinking level at MBO+ (vocational) level

  • Relevant experience in HR administration

  • Knowledge of HR and pay roll related (fiscal) rules and regulations

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Highly developed communication skills

  • Flexible approach, looking to take on new and interesting tasks

  • Fluent in Dutch & English
