Your role as Teamleader Production at Xsens

As our Team Leader Production, you are the central point of our production operations. You make sure our products are produced and shipped on time, in the right quantities, and to the right specifications by planning smartly, coordinating effectively, and stepping in hands-on where it counts.

You will be part of the Operations Team alongside the Customer Service Team and Planner/Buyer, and report directly to the Operations Director. You will be based at our office in Enschede, the Netherlands.

Key challenges:

• Day-to-day leadership of the production team (4 Production Operators), including coaching, training and performance management

• Maintaining and improving production procedures and processes

• Inventory management and coordinating incoming and outgoing goods

• Quality assurance and RMA processing

• Driving process implementation and continuous improvement

You will also act as back-up for our Production Operators and Planner/Buyer, so you stay close to the operational heartbeat of the team.

Xsens is looking for an experienced Team Leader Production. Someone who thrives in an environment where your proactive approach to problem solving is highly appreciated. You have:

• 3+ years relevant experience in an international (high) tech environment

• Proven leadership capabilities

• Experience with ERP systems, MRP and/or other planning methodologies

• Experience with ISO methodologies

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

• Strong understanding of complex information and requirements

• Good communication skills in both English and Dutch
