We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee our AR/AP operations within Europe. This position will manage a small team of specialists while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and develop a team of Accounts Receivable and Payable specialists
Oversee daily AR/AP operations, including transaction processing, reporting, and reconciliations
Work with High Radius for receivables management and Coupa for procurement/payables
Handle approvals and manage escalations within the AR/AP systems
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Collaborate with the Global Treasury Manager on payments, bank maintenance, and approval authorities
Develop and implement process improvements for increased efficiency
Generate regular financial reports and analysis

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable management
Previous team leadership experience
Proficiency with ERP systems; Navision and/or Netsuite in particular is a plus
Experience working with AR and AP automation systems like High Radius and Coupa
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Dutch language skills are a plus)
Experience working in a remote environment
Ability to work across time zones with US-based management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proactive approach to issue resolution
Ability to work independently while managing a team remotely
Strong interpersonal skills for effective team leadership
